Are XEOMIN® and Jeuveau® like BOTOX®? Yes. Both of these injectables are known as neuromodulators that are derived from the botulinum molecule and are used to temporarily relax the muscles that lead to wrinkles.
If you’re not familiar with XEOMIN®, is often referred to as a BOTOX® like product. XEOMIN® was used in Europe prior to being available in the US and received FDA approval in 2010 to treat wrinkles. The results vary by person, but typically last 3-6 months. Some individuals say they notice their results last longer with XEOMIN® than with other treatments.
Jeuveau® is most similar to BOTOX® in the way it’s manufactured. While all neurotoxins last approximately 3-4 months, some people feel their tox treatment with Jeuveau® lasts longer than when they’ve had other products. We are excited to introduce Jeuveau into our practice!
XEOMIN® and Jeuveau® are used as a preventative measure against wrinkles for people in their 20’s & 30’s and to help relax deeper lines in people 40 and beyond. XEOMIN® and Jeuveau® are also a great products for those who have developed a resistance to BOTOX®. This great product is used by both women and men! Ever heard of Brotox or Mantox?
